Great Garlandhayes farm
From 1995, Anne and Graham Langford have ran this technically advanced sheep breeding farm housing a flock of ~125 Poll Dorset’s. Since 2018, data has been collected on the farm throughout tupping and lambing, resulting in 2+ years of data on individuals in the flock. Within the University the Centre for Research in Animal Behaviour (CRAB) is uniquely placed as one of the few international groups providing a bridging link between traditional questions of human psychology and animal models with a focus on exploring the causes, functions and evolution of animal behaviour and how it adapts each species to its natural environment. Since 2008, Activinsights Ltd has been leading the way in wrist-worn accelerometry and data services, supplying globally to the both professional and research markets. The GENEActiv range (https://www.activinsights.com/products/geneactiv/) of raw data, tri-axial accelerometers have been used for research conducted by world leading universities, hospitals and professional sports bodies. ISI Foundation
Established in 1983 and based in Turin, Italy, the ISI foundation focuses on the collection and analysis of social demographic and behavioural data. To collect this data, novel proximity tags designed by the SocioPatterns collaboration consortium (http://www.sociopatterns.org) and the OpenBeacon project (http://www.openbeacon.org) are used.
