Waitrose Dorset Lamb Scheme

Delighted with the confirmation that Waitrose are not only continuing with this scheme to put fresh Dorset Lamb on their counters from January to May, but want to extend the available dates and the numbers of lambs brought forward.  With this years lambing due to start in early September - next week!, we had already committed our businesses to the Waitrose scheme.  Clearly the the scheme works for them and it certainly does for us.

Interesting that last year the Blackdown Flock topped the list of in-spec suppliers at 100%, and that this year we came second to Jim Dufosee (96.1%).  Both of us are Signet performance recorded flocks which might have a bearing on this?
